“r l, thank you for your ti,”jas开门见山,“let’s get straight to the pot you are 25 years old, vice president of huawei’s central research stitute any people fd this hard to believe how did you achieve this so quickly?”(林先生,感谢您的时间。
“r wilson, huawei, age is not the ost iportant factor what atters is what you can do,”他从容回答,“ the past year, i led the ‘sky’ project, which deployed telligent optiization ptfors for 12,000 base stations across guangdong provce i solved a critical equipnt faire issue osw at 25 degrees celsi, savg a 200 illion ntract and i’ now leadg a pany-wide research itiative on ‘global environntal adaptability’ these are not titles given, but results earned”(威尔逊先生,在华为,年龄不是最重要的因素。
jas快速记录,然后问:“but surely beg so young t have caed so resistance? older engeers, ore experienced anagers how do you deal with that?”(但如此年轻肯定会引起一些阻力吧?
“resistance exists any anization,”林辰微笑,“the key is to foc on the work itself when we were on that roof osw, no one cared about y age they only cared whether we uld fix the proble when we present solid technical sotions etgs, people listen becae of the ideas, not the age of the speaker”(任何组织都存在阻力。
他顿了顿:“ fact, huawei has any young leaders our founder, r ren, often says: ‘give young people a chance, they will surprise you’”(实际上,华为有很多年轻领导者。

jas点点头,换了个话题:“let’s talk about the petition beeen cha and the us teleunications huawei is expandg rapidly overseas do you see this as a technological petition, or sothg ore?”(我们来谈谈中美在通信领域的竞争。
林辰思考了几秒,回答:“technology knows no borders huawei’s goal is to provide better unication sotions to ctors around the world we pete with ericsson, nokia, cis—not with untries healthy petition drives novation, which benefits everyone”(技术无国界。
“but huawei has been aed of havg ties with the chese ilitary,”jas紧追不放,“so say your technology uld be ed for surveilnce how do you respond?”(但华为被指控与中国军方有联系。
“r wilson, huawei is a rcial pany we sell unication equipnt to tele operators, jt like ericsson and nokia all our products go through strict security certifications we ply with ternational standards and local ws every untry we operate”(威尔逊先生,华为是一家商业公司。
他直视jas:“as for surveilnce, that is a function detered by the operator and reguted by local ws, not by the equipnt provider huawei provides the pipe; what flows through it is decided by the pipe’s owner, with the legal frawork”(至于监控,这是由运营商决定并在当地法律监管下的功能,而不是由设备提供商决定。
jas记录着,又问:“there are reports that the chese governnt supports huawei with subsidies and policy advantages is this fair petition?”(有报道称中国政府通过补贴和政策优势支持华为。
林辰笑了:“every governnt supports its dostic dtries so way the us governnt supports arican panies through tax policies, r&d grants, and export credits the key is whether panies can deliver vae to ctors the end, ctors choose huawei not becae of governnt support, but becae our products work better, st less, and are ore reliable”(每个政府都以某种方式支持其国内产业。
